Will there be prizes?

Yes. First, second, and third place runners of both genders will be awarded prizes for both the 5K and 10K races. All participants receive a medal.

Where do I park?

Participants can park at Cootes Elementary School and a complimentary shuttle service to Coronation park will be available. Street parking near Coronation Arena is also available but limited.

Is the course stroller friendly?

Yes. We just ask that you begin near the back and stay to the right.

Are dogs allowed on course?

No, dogs will not be allowed on course, with the exception of service dogs. If you would like to register for the race and require the use of your service dog, please contact us after registering.

Is music allowed on course?

Yes, personal music devices with headphones are allowed. Please note that Legacy Run, its staff, volunteers and partners are not responsible for your own personal safety when using headphones and/or personal music devices. Please use at your own discretion and risk.

Will there be marshals on the course?

Yes. Marshals will be on course directing runners and walkers.

Will the lead runner for both the 5K and the 10K have a bike escort?

The overall leads will have an escort until the 2.5K turnaround for the 5K runners. The escort will then continue only with the 10K runners.

How is the run timed?

Runners will be chip-timed by SportMadeSimple.

Will there be a baggage check?

A free bag check will be available at Coronation Arena. Please note that Legacy Run, its staff, volunteers and partners are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please use at your own discretion. Reach Forth is not liable for any lost or stolen items. Items can be checked with bib number or driver’s license only.

Will there be drink stations on course?

Yes. A water stations will be at 3K/8K mark. Complimentary water and snacks will be handed out at the finish line for all participants.

Are there port-a-potties on course?

Yes. There are also washroom facilities available inside Coronation Arena, the start/finish location.

Can I walk the 5K?

Absolutely! Run or walk at whatever speed you are comfortable with doing.

Can I get a refund for cancelling my registration?

No, unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for any registration cancellations.
